CORONA VIRUS ON BOARD?

Cathay Pacific cabin crew demand the right to wear masks on all flights to protect themselves against the “Wuhan virus”. They are wearing masks and gloves in flights to/from central China but want these protective measures to extend to all flights. Unions said that the crew population is worry about the risk they are taking every time they go for a flight.

The Wuhan virus is an air borne disease. It has been proved to be contagious human to human. The best protection against these infectious diseases includes washing hands (20 seconds at least) and the use of mask and gloves, specially in “closed” spaces as an aircraft cabin.

What do you think about? Is it right that cabin crew ask for wearing masks in all flights with risks as the ones to/from China? ═══════════════════
